Now is different, you can not keep thinking to have a dealer who would buy you $.100K a year, and then they were happy for ever.  It was so in 70's and maybe in 80', but not in 90's. There are 400M people you can sale to, but first try to understand the new reality. USA Corporations can't wait sit-down a call from prospective dealer, because there isn't enough money and/or information. If yours can wait three or more years of internet, you don't need to read us today.

Not only Miami please.   Growing economical and political problems means growing visa's restrictions. The USA embassies commercial departments must have more local public information about the special corporations visa's they have. Anyway, to buy with a credit card on the web, send a check by mail and visit Unite States without speak English  are still panic ways to the most Latin American people. If you insist try to make tours like comdex

Don't call us we call you. Some products must be touched. You can't believe in the automatic trade fidelity. In Venezuela 80% of the people drank Pepsi on 95, it was just needed a delivery game with some local corporations and now 65% of the country drinks Coca-cola. JBL could be in woodstock 99 with the HLA, but the people need ear the speakers too.

I never saw it before. On 95 when I was president of the Association of Electronic Merchants, DAS corporation from Spain contact me to organized a meeting with prospective customer. We did and they didn't catch any, their prices were the same as JBL. The same year I saw them in the AES, and founded an office in  USA.Next years they came again, this time with speakers in the bag, they sold out the speakers and the bag. Now they have 20% of the country sales and multiple dealers.

Try your Own. Visit the countries, make meetings, seminars, conferences, participate in Shows, Organize testing meetings, etc. For example in our actual Spanish article, we talk about the experience lived by a group of recording engineers to whom mics corporations sent their best to make a test.

Sale your logo. Is incredible, if you want to buy an Audio Logo T-shirt you only can by the American way. Fill the form, send your check, your credit card number, etc. Is true your are not a clothes store, but how it increase your presence.

Internet. One new reason  of a low rate of sales of the region dealers is Internet. Since the boom of the web, if you don't have clear dealer politics your are out of business. The answer can't be kill the dealer and goes out of the country. Think about it: "Almost the same price here than in Miami".

Every year You must buy us..., booo.

If you are like tascam, too important, and want  to shareware your sales with Soundcraft new 60%, after 20 years having 80%, keep in Miami, don't support independent local technician and forget the multiples dealers concept.

Your product is so exotic.

While expenses technologies stay without demos, never will take more than 1% of the market. How many customers has this companies in Latin America?, How can an audio  professional talk about the bondage's of an rpg difusser panel without a demostration?, How the same professional can sale if never has eared the solution?.

How Much is it?. Do you know that a meeting to 200 cost about $.1.500,oo. Do you Know there are associations, corporations and people that can help you with the expenses?.
